Sailing Barge Matches.
Blackwater Sailing Barge Match Association
The B.S.B.M.A. was founded in 1962 with the object of
encouraging enthusiasts to race, care for, and preserve,
the remaining barges for as long as possible.
The expenses of organising the Match are largely defrayed
as Friends subscriptions, and by donations.
Membership of the Association entitles members to join
in any social activity arranged, reserve seats on craft
following the Match and take part in the Annual Film
Show.
A newsletter is sent regularly to all members.
