COLNE BARGE MATCH

START
A line through Bateman's Tower transit marks (triangle topped post on the white line on the tower).
The starting line will be limited by a mark boat on the Brightlingsea shore and the Committee Boat moored off Mersea shore. Vessels must pass between the limit marks.
Failure to observe the limit marks and for being below the start line on the starting gun will be a time penalty at the Officer of the Day's discretion.

SIGNAL GUNS
There will be a ten minute gun after which no vessel may continue
under power, and racing rules will be observed.
A five minute gun and starting gun will also be fired.

Code CARDS
for each class will be shown on Bateman's Tower.

TIME
Class One -Smacks and Bawleys 07.00 B.S. T.
Class Two - Barges 07.30 B.S.T.

FINISH
The race ends at the Bateman's Tower line.

PRIZEGIVING
The Prizegiving will be held at the Brightlingsea Sailing Club from 1800
All spectators are welcome.
