Associated Events:

Blackwater Smack Race will take place on the same day. The race will start and Finish at Osea. Start 9.30.
Smacks and Bawleys will sail a slightly shorter course than the barges.

The Old Gaffers Association will also be out racing in their East Coast area Old Gaffers Race, starting and finishing their races near Bradwell. This should not affect the barge and smack races, but will add to the spectacle.

The Maldon Little Ship Club is also holding a Regatta on this day. They also use Osea Pier as their start and finish, but their races will be started ahead of those for the barges and smacks.
